ANDY'S MINIBUS TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF HIRE

The proprietor will supply the vehicle(s) specified in the particulars of booking with driver who shall be dressed appropriately. The hirer is aware that the proprietor reserves the right in the rare event of a mechanical breakdown or damage to the specified vehicle(s) occurring before the commencement of the contract to substitute (or in the event of breakdown or damage during the performance of the contract to continue with) a vehicle available to the proprietor of as near the type, age and model as specified in the particulars, but wherever practical to consult with the hirer on the type of vehicle to be substituted..

The hirer accepts that if any vehicle/s are hired in from another operator, any terms and conditions imposed by them shall be binding as if the hirer had directly contracted to them
The vehicle(s) will be clean, inside and out The vehicle(s) will arrive at the agreed collection point at the time and on the date specified and the hirer will ensure that all persons to be carried will be ready for departure at that time.

The company will undertake to transport a reasonable quantity of accompanying luggage,. If however in the judgement of the driver, the volume or weight is excessive, the company reserves the right to refuse the carriage of said luggage. In addition the company cannot assume any responsibility or liability for any loss or damage to clients property or luggage, howsoever such loss or damage caused.

The hirer will pay upon booking a non-returnable booking fee of the quoted amount with the outstanding amount becoming due for payment THIRTY DAYS before the date of hire. Cost are incurred from when the hirer reserves the vehicle and should they cancel, this must be in writing and sent to us by recorded delivery. All cancellations incur a charge (minimum amount is the deposit/booking fee) should the hirer cancel within three months of the date of hire the balance will be due in full.

Should we secure another booking for the vehicle, for the same date then all monies will be refunded minus the deposit/booking fee The cost of hire is specified on this confirmation, should the hire term exceed the hirer agrees to pay additional time and mileage in respect of which an invoice will be sent on completion of hire. The hirer accepts that there is no smoking in any of the vehicles. The consumption of alcohol on the vehicle is at the discretion of the driver.

In the event of any claim arising out of or in connection with the proprietor s obligations under this agreement as to the proprietors liability (so far as is permitted by statute) shall be limited to £30.00 in respect of any one claim. The proprietor cannot guarantee that itinerary changes can be accommodated if requested within one week from the date of hire.

The hirer will be responsible for any damage the client/s passengers cause to the vehicle/s however caused, including sickness related to alcohol consumption when a minimum charge of £150.00 will be made.
